HA KO Paper Incense — Japanese Pepper
HA KO Paper Incense — Japanese Pepper
single leaf
HA KO is a collection of delicately fragranced paper incense that was developed over the course of five years by one of Japan’s oldest incense makers. Made by craftsmen in the Awaji region of Japan — the epicenter of fine fragrance since the 6th century — these special pieces are composed of washi paper in the shape of leaves native to the region. Winner of the 2019 Good Design Award.
Each individually packaged leaf will infuse any space with a feeling of tranquility — whether displayed as minimalist modern potpourri, giving off fragrance for up to three months, or as incense left to quietly smolder for approximately seven minutes while cleansing and deodorizing the space.
Japanese Pepper:
The surprising sweetness and scent of flower buds in Japanese Pepper call to mind the fresh growth of early April.
Care Instructions:
Place leaf on a HA KO Incense Burning Mat (included), then set both on a non-flammable surface. Do not allow to burn unsupervised. Avoid placing in drafty areas or near any flammable materials. Note that direct sunlight may cause discoloration over time.
